<title>Spider or Lizard?</title>
<link>http://portagechurch.org/newsletter/weblog.php?id=P831</link>
<description>Some of you may be wondering about the devotional this week. Anne recently brought this to my attention - It quotes the KJV of Proverbs 30:28 where it talks of a &quot;spider&quot;... but almost every other translation (except the NKJV) says &quot;lizard&quot;. Big difference... so why the confusion?

Well i asked a friend of mine who is a seminary / Bible college professor. He posted on his blog about this question. Feel free to check it out: www.ThisLamp.com </description>

<title>Prayer For Jason</title>
<link>http://portagechurch.org/newsletter/weblog.php?id=P822</link>
<description>Hey Church -

Got a call early this morning from a friend requesting some prayer. The request is for a man named Jason who attempted to take his life last night. He is hospitalized now and I'm sure has a long road ahead of him - please pray for him to come to know our Jesus and to surrender all to HIM. It is only then that Jason will experience true healing.
Thanks :)
