Pray - Aaron's Mom
Please be in prayer for Aaron's Mom. She is undergoing chemotherapy and isn't eating well. Pray that she might be free from pain & suffering.
For those who don't know, she came to know Christ at River's Easter service. Praise God!
Please keep her and their family in your prayers.

Gladem Basement Flooded
Hi everyone. Mike & Faith's basement has about 6 inches of water in it. Their washer broke and ran a bunch of water down there in the middle of the night. Mike is out of town so Faith could use some help:
• Someone to watch Maggie for a little bit while she works to get water out (Faith, not Maggie)
• Some people to come & help pump the water out
• Anyone have an extra decent washer they could use?
Please contact Faith at: (608) 745-1948
or email her: Faith@PortageChurch.org

Vision 2.0 - New Series
Starting this Sunday, we will be revisiting the vision of River of Life Church. This will be an exciting time as we rediscover who we are as a church, and exactly why God has put River here and now!
This will be especially exciting for some of you, as this was core group development that I taught 3-4 years ago when we first started River! I feel it is especially important to go through and renew this vision, as you are the true core group of River of Life Church!
Get ready to get new energy and understanding of River - why we are here and what we are all about! Vision 2.0... Rediscovering our purpose!

Julie Harper
Julie did have a polyp removed today. It was not as deep as the last one. The Doctor thinks there should not be any bleeding problems. She is home now sleeping. So just keep praying that things will remain good for her. Thanks Bill

Vacation Bible School
River of Life Church
Imagine…
…a child hearing about God’s love for the first time.
…kids worshipping in powerful ways.
…children praying for each other.
…adults and teens modeling Jesus’ love to children.
…the kids in our church sharing Christ with children around the world.
…children serving each other.
This summer, it's our vision to create a bubbling science lab for the kids. Be a part of the vacation Bible school at Portage United Methodist Church August 4-8. It’s our goal to reach 150 kids with this program! That’s 150 kids who will grow in their relationship with God.

Treats Needed
There are 6 men from Alabama at the church this week through Thursday helping do some repairs and update our restrooms. Anne has taken care of the meals for the week but I'm sure they would appreciate some homemade cookies or bars for snacks. If anyone would like to do that just drop them off in the kitchen at church. Thanks a bunch!
